I moved into my apartment in July. I signed a lease for a unit that was supposed to have a washer and dryer. Upon moving in it was not present I inquired why it was not present and it was told that it would be ordered and be installed in three to four business days. Since then several weeks have gone by and it still has not been installed.I have been given multiple dates in which I was told it would be installed and I come home to an empty laundry room. Trying to communicate with management is a nightmare. I have sent endles... read more

Been trying to close out our apartment lease that ends June 30 since early February. We have provided notice 45+ days in advance, and our many emails and phone calls have been ignored by Andrea Franklin. We are just trying to move out respectfully and accordingly, and have received zero response. Today, we received a notice to pay July rent from RCA as if our lease isn't ending. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone moving to the Detroit area, not due to the apartment itself, but due to the staff negligence.

Waste of time! Unfortunately, I was denied due to a criminal record but that is not why I am leaving a bad review. After touring an apartment and applying a day later it took them over 3 weeks to give us an answer! And to add insult to injury both my g/f and I just received move-in welcome emails and surveys! So un-professional and now just mean!

Great location though it gets noisy at night time. I paid ~2500/month for a gross, unclean apartment. When I complained they gave me $200 to figure out my own cleaning service. The kitchen was not done so I could not use it my first week. The remainder of the time, the elevator would break down often and I had to take the stairs to the 19th floor. The place was run down and you could tell that they used the crappiest materials possible. When I moved out they took $100 from my deposit for a gas and water refund. When I contac... read more

Positives: location, market within the complex Negatives: poor management, lack of cleanliness, elevators do not work, no heat or AC in the hallways, AC does not work in units when humidity is high, maintenance requests go unfulfilled for long periods of time and when conditions are uninhabitable (i.e. fecal matter leaks into your kitchen from above) management does not compensate.

I am so happy here. I love living in the heart of downtown with the ability to walk everywhere. I love being able to go to the rencen or anywhere on the people mover without going outside in bad weather. The concierges are super nice and helpful. The manager Shannon is beyond belief on top of things. The views are spectacular. I enjoy the amenities... grill out on the patio, hang out in the sky club, swim or workout in the fitness center. The maintenance staff are very professional and timely and friendly. The apartment is v... read more
