I visit the Renaissance a week ago. The hotel is lovely. Most of the staff is very kind those at the front desk. The female bellhop was awesome. I can not remember her name and I apologize for that because I'm really good with names. However, the most impressive person to me was Kathleen who worked in a restaurant. Terrible stay, service ranked the lowest in all of my Marriott stays. There are times when the points just doesn't matter, and this has certainly been one of them. - 20 minutes+ of wait to order a meal, decided to leave. - TV offline - Customer at the front desk...so disappointing. Never again...
The bathroom faucet only trickled water. The tub/shower faucet leaked more water out where the faucet connects to the wall of the shower, than the shower its self. A patchwork of repairs to the rooms' popcorn ceiling had me first wondering if this was the hotels' maintenance departments' idea of art. I really wanted to give this location 1 star after their failure to provide well working refrigerators in their rooms. I have to pump and store breastmilk while traveling and they do not have accommodations for freezing ice packs or milk. Upon arriving late, I discovered my fridge was warm. The maintenance person” fixed “ it but it still didn’t get cold enough.
