Jan Is filling a law suit against me for not paying for an apartment that he texted me was subleased. He told me it was leased so I went to turn in my keys and use the bathroom one more time but I couldn’t right away because the place was renovated and a worker was using the bathroom for over 10 minutes. I lived at 510 West Main st for over 6 years and the owner of building, Jan, has always done a nice job as a landlord. He is responsive through text message, repairs are timely, and he helped get the apartment subleased when I moved out. The location is amazing and the building is nice!
Management does a poor job of communicating with potential tenants. I submitted an application and briefly spoke with Jan on the phone. He said that I would hear back from him the same day about whether I was approved for the apartment or not. I tried to call him back to follow-up on the status of my application but could not get ahold of him.
