My first review was quite inaccurate and a product of miscommunication. Despite of the fact that Dr. Sontag will not be able to see me as a patient, he is still caring and continues working on me getting better. I was able to get accupuncture and a proper ankle brace and orthopedic shoes approved through workers comp. I honestly wish that I had not placed previous review. I have never met a doctor more caring, creative, thorough, and specific about how to heal and what the plan of care should be. When he examines you, he thinks about your condition. He performs exams without creating undo pain. He treats everyone with respect, and works long hours so he can spend time with patients without feeling rushed. You may wait to see him, but this doctor is worth the wait, and in my case, worth traveling out of state to continue seeing him.
