NEVER put your energy service with RELIANT. I had a terrible experience and now I have to pay 555$ when I just wanted to switch to a lower plan and not a fixed contract. There are more details about the misinformation the sales representative told me. They said that “contract and plan” are the same words for them. I feel ripped off. Those words have different meanings. That was an excuse to charge me that much for one bedroom apartment. In a nutshell, NEVER put your energy with this company.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Reliant Energy incorrectly informed Acacia Energy that I was moving out today, June 24th, which led to the disconnection of my service. In reality, I’m not moving; I decided to cancel the service with Reliant due to being misinformed by a sales representative about the deal offered and opted to stay with my current provider, Acacia.
