After 8 years I signed on with a different provider. The rates that they were offering were ridiculous and I'm not going to be paying for Centerpoint's poor decision making favoring profits over maintenance, grid upgrades and storm preparedness. The most amusing thing was when they were calling me after I had canceled services and signed on with a new provider. Why couldn't you offer the better contract rates prior to my canceling? Just another piece of crap energy company with horrible customer service.
Free nights is a scam. They charge you more during the day instead. Signed to lower my electricity bill instead it's $184 with free nights. Ridiculous don't sign up with them.
