In the end, I spent 5 days without electricity during my vacation with my child, causing a ton of discomfort. All the food in my fridge worth $400 spoiled. And you know what happened at the end of the month? They sent me a "Cancellation Fee" bill. I'm just shocked by this company. Six years of never missing a payment and constantly going up on price with every renewal. After speaking over the phone with 2 different agents and chatting online with one other. Reliant truly failed me as a consumer. When it came to closing my account at the end of my contract the company became hard to reach with up to 2hr hold times VS when it came to finding a new plan that could potentially work for me they even gave me a call back. Trash company , they need hiring people who actually speak English and know how to do the job properly. Not the oversea people don’t know what they doing . When I sign up the account the Cusomter told me everything is good and will send you the confirmation , and 3 month later you telling me I didn’t submit my id my account never activated . Take your business somewhere else don’t waste time here , energybot.com actually have more cheaper provider than this company
The is worst company I have ever dealt with. The attitudes here a piss poor. There’s no accountability and the customer is always wrong and at fault. I’ve had so many bad experiences with this company that lead to be anxious, overwhelmed and receiving the short end of the stick.
