Called on friday, and was quoted with the cancellation fee 450 dollars to cancel. I called txu and started with them the next day. RELIANT is charging us $778 dollars to cancel. $578 of that being our bill. Theyover charge and lie to you, do not use them i repeat do bot use them. When i called they couldn’t do anything about they could not honor what i had been quoted. We are moving to TXU witch gives far better deals. I just got off the phone with a reliant representative who told me something very different than the first person I spoke with. I called in early January to cancel my service because I was fleeing a domestic violence situation and would no longer be living at the service address. My husband was the sole monetary supporter for the household. I was a stay at home mom of 4 children for the last 10 years. I am currently in hiding from my abuser with my 4 children. They don’t tell you about all of EXTRA charges they have you to pay before you get with their company! Doing a predictable bill isn’t even possible because they say it’ll be set and !!! THEY LIE ! Listen Reliant is terrible our bill was extremely high. Almost $400 for one month. Our apartment suggested this company and omg. Listen do your research first before you choose this company.
