Welcome to the {r}elevé one foundation! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit women's studio dedicated to helping ensure every woman has access to a safe place where she can begin and/or continue the journey of becoming healthy in a setting that believes on renewing the mind, body and spirit through movement, encouragement and prayer. Wonderful experience! Uplifting owner/instructor and challenging class.
Releve One was an experience I will not forget for many reasons. I will start off with the good. The staff was extremely friendly, the studio is clean and beautiful, and the workout was tough but set attainable goals for every type of exerciser. However, there is one very relevant issue about this studio: the utter lack of warning that the class was religious in nature. Excellent classes, fun teachers, great atmosphere!
When I first heard of barre studios, I had the perception of ballet dancers and prissy movements. Boy was I wrong. Amy encouraged me to come check it out! Amy and all of the instructors bring such knowledge, skill and passion into a challenging workout. They explain the movements and form and each muscle group that is being worked.
