I have been fortunate enough to have many good doctors over the years but Dr. George McCluskey surpasses them all. His knowledge and skill are amazing. He listens well and his responses to questions and details about problems and treatment are superb. I will never leave his care (now driving 4-5 hours to see him) unless I am no longer able to travel. I trust and his skill implicitly.

Continuation: Luis Cypher As for "total control", the reference may be to the fact that Dr. Verson admonished the patient's granddaughter for using a cell phone during the neurologic exam. In that sense, yes, Dr. Verson prefers order to chaos in conducting an exam. I hope this helps explain the curious extremes in the posts. I and Dr. Verson look forward to working with all of you.

He gave me zero time for questions. Gave me a 10 minute new patient visit. Walked out as I was trying to hand him paperwork. Said he didn't believe what the optometrist said. When I asked the nurse if I could see him again or have her ask a question for me she said I can't because I will get yelled at. I'll never go back!

Dr VERSON might be smart , but he has HORRIBLE bedside manner/ emotionally numb/you only get 10 minutes of his previous time when you have an appointment REALLY? And don't think about asking many questions, because he seems to get offensive- maybe he's intimidated that someone had enough smarts to ask- hardly spoke directly to my husband except when examining him- really acts like he wants to be In Total Control- our insurance is paying him Very Well,- appreciate his staff- very kind and caring

I have seen numerous neurologist all over the world, he is the best one i have encountered. Cured me of headaches when no one else could.

Personable, knowledgeable and highly professional. He explained my injury technically and was so thorough that I left feeling confident and assured that I'd receive the best treatment.

Dr. Cheek was extremely informative throughout my journey of trying to conceive all the way to delivery. I had some minor complications with pregnancy and he was always patient with my many questions. I never stressed about any part of my pregnancy because he genuinely cared for my health. thw delivery was painful but he helped me through it by encouraging me the whole way. I'll be hard pressed to find another doctor I'm as comfortable with as him after we move 5 hours away.

Diagnosed me with a brain tumor but on subsequent visits refused to discuss with me or answer questions. Staff forgot to call in Rx's after visit. Sent me for thyroid scan but failed to give me results until I had to ask after he was walking out the door after only 5 minutes. Would not let me see my brain scan. I will see this dr again. Most disappointing dr I've ever seen. Also prescribed a medication that would have interacted with my current meds.

Dr. Verson takes appropriate time when I am at an appointment. He listens to my concerns and treats seemingly unrelated symptoms as part of a puzzle as to what is going on in my body. He follows up with tests when necessary and is very serious about getting a correct diagnosis. He even figured out what was wrong with my bone density after repeated trips to Emory didn't provide any results! And he's a Neuro...not an Endocrinologist, but he was correct in his diagnosis. Be on time for appts.
