Dr. Verson is a very Caring and dedicated doctor. Listened to our problems and was very concerned without being rushed. However, his office staff is a joke. None of them know what they are doing and he even admitted that. Won't call in prescriptions even after I called back after the 3rd day of pharmacy not receiving any scripts. Front desk was rude and didn't answer any questions on where to go for labs, I was told to "ask somebody when I get to the hospital, I don't know," with an attitude. I had been seeing Dr. Verson for over year with my migraines. He was great at treating them aggressively and wasn’t satisfied with a reduced number in migraine days he really wanted to eliminate them. I appreciated this in a dr. However, his office staff are horrible. His office manager Ashley is the worst example of what a dr should have to manage his office. Very professional, skilled and through in his evaluation and tests. Went beyond what others did and he was very current in his information and necessary evaluations. Some tests were available in his facility thereby avoiding the necessity of scheduling offsite evaluations and recommendations.
Dr Verson is soft spoken, gentle and kind. He listens to my concerns and does not seem to be anxious to get on to the next patient as many physicians do these days. He is thorough and I have confidence that he will determine what is best for me.
My mother saw Dr. Verson May 29th, and ordered lab work to be done. The office code on the lab work was wrong, and the test would have cost $2300.00. I have been calling the office since May 30th, and STILL have no resolution to the problem. I have been waiting by the phone, and not even the office manager has responded to this problem. I would never recommend this doctor or his office help.
This Doc is a looney!! He tried to diagnose my severe head trauma with a bird feather. Also nerve conduction study on my wrist. Insane! I also witnessed the office manager refusing to see late arriving patients that were out of their medication and really suffering. I would NEVER go back here!! I went to Atlanta and St. Francis for real medical help and now I’m well 6 years later. Do not settle for crappy Docs, good ones out there that will help you!!
He is very knowledgeable, however he is terrible with answering questions, explaining labs, sets his timer to go off 8-10 minutes into the appointment unless you are of financial status or a friend then time isn't a factor. The only thing I liked about his office was how hard the staff works to meet then patients expectations. I have been there several times and I have witnessed him belittling the staff and cussing at them. I would rather drive to Atlanta before going back to his office. Sad!
Amazing experience......... Very fortunate to have Dr. McCluskey do my surgery. He was compassionate, thorough and an incredible surgeon and his staff was most helpful in expeditionng everything. Thank you
