I went to this place that was recommended by the store where I bought my suit, a couple of blocks down the street. Unfortunately my experience was not good. The nature of this business requires good communication with clients, to gather the basic requirements for the fix, skill that the staff don't seem to care for, in my experience. The end result of my fixes were 50/50, ok for the jacket, but I'll need to take my pants to another store to have them fixed to the right length for me.

It was fine in a pinch and needed my clothes fast and they can do very fast turnarounds. Bonobos sent me here for a suit I needed quickly. That said, they seemed to be trying to ask me for a lot of direction and then made the pants to short after I tried to tell them that I was worried about that. When I brought it back, they wanted to charge me again for another alteration that they could've done the first time. I'm not an expert in what I need on the tailoring side, so looking for expert guidance and I didn't get that here... read more

It’s pricey but they’ll do it the right way, I had my shirts hemmed and taken in and they used the proper stitching (i.e. overlock vs single/double stitches for parts that need more flexibility).
