I had dinner at Reid’s on Friday evening with dear friends. It was the best, most innovative food I’d been served in a very, very long time. I had the lamb tenderloin. It was perfectly cooked on a bed of sweet potato and mascarpone with beets, blackberries and nasturtium. It was sublime. My companions were equally impressed with the quality of their food. By far one of the best restaurants in the area. Never ever disappoints.
We had a great day with these guys starting with Betty’s Biscuits at the Watauga Farmer’s Market and the raw oysters and bubbly at the bar Sat night. Bartender Brad was great. Everyone was friendly, especially the food truck crew morning and evening.
Last evening I had a 50th birthday party for my husband at our home. Reid’s catering was recommended by several of my friends, and I could not be more pleased. The entire experience was amazing, from the planning with Jessica, to Julie who spent the evening serving up delicious food. I can’t thank you all enough for making the evening special, and I would highly recommend you to everyone. Again, thank you, Jessica, and thank you Julie for the on point experience.

My husband and I along with a friend had dinner on Friday night. I had the yellow tuna and it was the best I have ever had! My husband had the Butter Steak and he was very pleased (he is a steak snob). Our friend had the pork chop and he too was very pleased with his meal. Great bottle of wine. Perfect evening. Hope to go back next weekend with a party of six.
