They basically attack you with their membership. I had 3 different staff members ask before I got to the register. When I did with one of their returned items I found out that you have to pay their membership fee to buy those items. Terrible experience, lady at the checkout was incredibly rude.
We were planning our first ski trip and Amyleigh did an amazing job helping us. She knew what base layers we would need and gave us recommendations for any other gear we would need at Northern REI locations.
Great experience with excellent service—from the moment we arrived until we paid, the staff was attentive, responsive, and provided accurate advice and assistance. Thank you to the gentleman with the hat who speaks French: merci! You've truly helped us become loyal fans of Rei-coop Birmingham.
