A bit frustrated dropped a bike off to be tuned up on Sunday 7/19 and was told it would take 5-7 days. I said that was perfect since we leave for camping on 7/29. I forgot to call so that’s my mistake but was told they would call me and now my son has to go camping without his bike tomorrow since they don’t open until 10am. Tried to call but they close at 6pm. I showed my granddaughter a bunk bed set that I was going to get for her and her brother after she had come back from the hospital. She loved it and I was ready to purchase. I also found a bed for myself and was going to look for one for my daughter. We all sleep on pallets on the floor. She was so excited because she had to go to the hospital for 1 more procedure,but her reward would be the bunk beds. The sales associate took a sweeping look at me and told me that I should wait for my friend to teach me about carabiners, quickdraws etc and walked away. As if ppl my size couldn’t be climbers.
Protip: when you’re unsure if an item will make it before an important date (valentines day), don’t say it will
My fiancé and I had the best experience there purchasing two sets of ski boots and skis! Dave, Maddy and Tyler were so helpful and I definitely would make the 40 minute drive to get the customer service alone. We got such a good deal on skis and Dave took over an hour just to make sure we got the right fitting boots!! Picture below with my new skis, still waiting to pick up my partners skis on Wednesday! Beyond impressed! Can’t wait to hit the slopes!
Had issues with my Lowa hiking boots, Jim was able to figure out the problem and get me back on the trails. If you need great advise and knowledgeable staff go see Jim in the boot section!
Great service. Always a pleasure dealing with REI. Tyler did a nice job helping us select 2 bikes and accessories. We'll be back!
