Not good. He called me a drug addict and basically walked out of the room. I was shocked. I was referred to him for back pain and he refused to look at my CD's or examine me. He said that he could diagnose me from reading my chart. I will not come back to this place.

My experience(s) with him have been nothing short of horrendous. He's cocky, condescending, judgemental, unprofessional and honestly does 100x more harm than "good." He clearly assumes everyone who is on pain meds (even those that are under a doctors care and follow the pain contract) is an addict and abusing them. His assistant isn't the most knowledgeable, and pretty much plays the messenger between you (the patient) and him. I was referred to this doctor for pain management and basically just told me that I'm making up my pain. He wouldn't make eye contact with me and would just saw the same thing over and over. I think that there is something the matter with him. I won't go back to him.

Surprise, Surprise, just like all the other reviews on this site, I too had an absolutely HORRIFIC experience with this man. The crappy thing is, I did my research beforehand and had a pretty good idea that he was at least a jerk, but he certainly upped his game for me! I would never have seen him except for the fact that he was literally the ONLY freakin choice. He literally talked at (actually more down to) me and clearly had not read my medical history. I recently heard from another doctor in Corvallis that Coehlo was leaving the CC " on his own volition". Good bye, please don't let the elevator doors catch you on you way out. I guess he got tired of being " the only doctor that understood anything". After all, that is why he sits in his chair and we little people sit in our chairs, because he "is the expert". This doctor is a poor excuse for a pain doctor I wish I had read this site before seeing him I have had multiple surgeries and I'm definitely have pain that supported by medical records and MRIS he was rude uncaring arrogant and in my opinion the worst doctor I have seen in over 50 years I have a great doctor down in the same area and like I said please do your research before spending dollars to see this jerk and if you have a similar experience please call the Corvallis Clinic and report him and also review him on this web... read more

I seen this terrible excuse for a dr. for over a year, at first he seemed ok he spent on average about 3 minutes with me and would thro script at me. In the summer of 2015 we agreed to do a taper off of all the pain meds. Well I hurt my back bulging a disk that was causing extreme sciatica at the same time. To make a long story short he accused me of faking the pain to get pills, even with MRI results showing the damage.
