I've been in here for almost 2 months from ticu to wound care and finally to the burn rehab unit. Overall I am impressed with how friendly and caring the nurses are. They are quick to respond to a request as well as an emergency(I've had a few). Of course there were some nurses and pcas that were subpar, but it has only been a few. The doctors have been amazing in informing me what is going on, what the plan is, and answering any questions I have. They to are very friendly and personable. Well reception sucks reaaly bad they are very cold and the nurse in the emergency room was super mean but once i made it upstairs life was pretty good i had my apendix removed and a piece of fat too they are pretty nice here
My son was flown in to the Med on May 23, 2015 with a gunshot wound to the abdomen .. He was critical. The amazing surgeons that night saved his life.. He had many surgeries , infections, MRSA and was in and out of the Med constantly .. He had good days and bad..Times where he was in ER for hours and times when he went right on in..But he had an awesome team of doctors..and the nurses and other workers were friendly and professional.. Brought my Dad into the ER around 8:15pm with his blood pressure thru the roof and terrible pain to his head only to be signed and told to have a seat after 2 hours they finally check his blood pressure only to be told that it in fact was elevated and again told to have a seat and someone will be with you shortly!! Now another hour or so passed wet are called back to get another waiting area to sit for another 4 hours to finally get shuffled out the door with 2 prescriptions and no real results!!Too slow and no genuine conce... read more
All the staff were wonderful. My only complaint is that is took 8 hrs to be discharged.
Just have to say the burn unit is great. From the doctors nurses cafeteria and cleaning team. They were great and took very good care of both of us. We all need to take time to pray these wonderful people I know that they don't have an easy job.
