The hospital is a joke. Wouldn't take my dog their. They've bought the competition where they don't have improve. They think their UAB and their not. People I know as well as some of my family has died because of that hospital.
On Thursday afternoon Oxford primary care called an ambulance for my husband because she believed he was having a stroke in her office. He was taken to RMC where he was treated for high blood pressure and sent home even with an altered mental status. He is now at UAB where I took him after he was still showing signs of altered mental status and was admitted immediately. RMC said he did NOT have a stroke. UAB showed me on the scans where it shows he did. Drs only care about in and out this could have turned out much worse.
RMC is a scam hospital!!!
The nursing staff is wonderful! The doctors on the otherhand are rude, disrespectful, and in serious need of education. They evade patient contact and rush you through like an assembly line. They misdiagnose and do no follow-up whosoever. I would not recommend anyone go to RMC.
because the management has become neglectful of their duties everyone seems to have a I don't care or there's nothing I can do attitude. the doctors don't keep nurses well informed on their patients. that's just a few but the lost goes on and on.

The ER was a joke!! We are at Children's Hospital after going there and being sent home!! Thankfully they did an xray at Childrens and have figured out the problem!!
I had an outpatient procedure yesterday. Excellent care from start to finish!
I had a horrible birthing experience and had an long recovery. Very disappointing first birthing experience. I will not be back.
