We came to the hospital for a scheduled surgery for our son. The registration desk has a sign-in sheet for "outpatient tests". We were not here for an outpatient test. It took over 30 minutes to finally get signed in. The hospital is not family friendly either. At the moment, I am disappointed in the "process".
I thought that the nurses were fantastic�the only complaint I have is the room was just so cold and we/they couldn't seen to make it warmer.
Everyone here was super nice and done a great job when my granddaughter had surgery thank you all and God bless
First true stay at the String and kinda would say it's a okay place But as I have found with hospitals in general you have to watch and control everything yourself . I went in with three main issues 2 of which were completely ignored even after been given a room and asking for help with those 2 issues until way way to long of time. The daily meals are much better than the other hospital in town,to me anyways.. Best hospital! I don't want RMC to take this hospital! Best doctors, nurses, and staff. I used this hospital many times and several surgeries. Couldn't ask for a better one.
Over 4 hrs wait! Not enough staff. Was there with a sick child who cried in the waiting room for hours. Check in nurse was hateful and acted like we were imposing on her. Now Stringfellow is as bad or worse than RMC. Drive to Birmingham for good care!!!
