This is geared towards the Rockville location. They lie and will say anything to keep your child and not allow them to come home. My child is on a VPA and they can't stand she is doing better so we are going to court and the stuff they wrote is bullshit. Lies Lies Lies just keep taking money from us. So sad

I'm 27 now I was here when I was 16 Even though I got my stuff together And I'm good now this place really haunts me they put on a really good front their is like 2 staff out of everyone that care if they even still their I can't even explain how bad it was no one would even believe me I wish I can buy the place just to close it y'all know nothing about nothing all y'all know is when a kid gets upset call back up and give them meds if u care about your kid don't send em here ..man I really hate how y'all act like y'all help ... read more

I was there in 86 and spent several years there. There was so much abuse. I was abused by the nurse Joe. He gave out the medication. I'm looking for anyone that can remember Joe's last name. It really took a tole and me and lead to years of alcohol and drug abuse. These were by far the worst years of my life and it's taken years to cope. The staff there defended each other and they were all in it together. I mentioned to other staff members the abuse and it was always ignored and swept under the rugs. Like the small class sizes and teacher support for my child. Did not have a positive experience with therapy services and transition services, but there are some good clinicians.

I was there for 18 months and it had its good times and bad more bad then good staff on the cottages did not care the security guard Rodney broke my arm while restraining me loved to put you in the quiet room ran away and told my dss case worker I was not going back cops took me back and I was put in a red sweat suit the had awol in big yellow letters on the shirt and pants and forced to sleep in the hallway so staff could see me my case worker finally got me into a foster home so my advice is don't send your kid there for h... read more
