This is a sad looking place with no sitting area to visit with my resident friend. Food looks poor -- canned vegetables, nothing fresh. She is not even allowed to sit outdoors. There is nothing home-like about the environment. As far as I can see, outings are rare and activities are minimal.Â

This place should NOT get a STAR! Lowest of possible care! My mom has been in this facility for 15 months. Has ate dinner with POOP on her hands twice! Has had many clothes taken and shoes! Dinner is served cold and late! Nurses sit behind the ROYAL desk and do NOTHING...while the aides bust their buts! The aides get NO training and NO help! Our family would like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude for all the never ending support and loving care our Brother received during his stay at the Sunset Health Care Nursing Home. Your Staff is remarkable! Their concern and knowledge in caring for him allowed us to have a better understanding as to what our Brother was going through and how to deal with it every step of the way. Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you? Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.Â
They don't treat their clients equally at all, and only make time for their favorite clients. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. I plan on telling everyone I know about how terrible this nursing home is. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. I got a few answers here and there to my questions, but it was scattered and confusing. I left wishing I had gotten more information. They always take the time to listen to me.
