Super frustrating you make appointment and no one is available once you arrive
I went for a nail appointment and I am dissaplintwd with the nail prep and cleanliness. The design came out nice but they do not prep the nails unless you ask about it. Even if I asked her to clean the cuticle and the nail bed, she simply did using the biggest drill. Manicure is more than just the nail art. It starts with preparing the nail bed and the curicle and even the outer skin around the nail. Then comes the nail design. Then the finishing.
I waited for more than an hour at Regal Nails, and in the end, they told me very rudely that they didn’t have time and that I should leave. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I have been a regular customer, and even then they treated me this way. I can’t imagine how they treat someone who isn’t a regular. Very disappointing and shameful customer service.
I got my French tips done at Regal Nails (Eglinton location) just a week ago, and they already started breaking from the middle. One even broke so badly that it injured my finger! The nail color also started coming off within a week, which should never happen. The quality was really disappointing. On top of that, the lady who did my nails was very rude and didn’t seem to know how to properly do French tips. Overall, a terrible experience — I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
