On 8/25,14, I had a perm and trim. My hair is extremely frizzy and I asked for a softer curl with less frizz: what I ended up with is not much different than before I got the perm. Yes, I could have a "different" look by slathering on lotions and creams - but I could do that before I got the perm. I was told that my hair is "too coarse" and "too gray" for a perm to do much good. Wish they'd told me that before I wasted $55.00
