I came to redwood pulmonary because my previous pulmonologist stopped my insurance. Dr Melody Brewer has been amazing! I have asthma and sarcoidosis and she's been so patient with me during office visits to listen to and understand my symptoms and concerns. She has been aggressively treating me, as I prefer to get relief over diddling around endlessly taking tests to satisfy a doctor's perverse curiosity over my condition. I had an appointment scheduled and my medical approval was pending and when it was approved I informed them that I would call to give them the card number to compensate for the consultation fee. They informed me that I didn't need to call and they would send a message with the number so I I did so, the message was not seen and the charge was made and now they say they do not accept my insurance coverage! If you elect to visit this clinic, insist on acquiring your own CPAP machine or on using a local vendor. The doctor did a great job, but the clinic acquired a CPAP machine from Apria Healthcare on my behalf, without offering any alternatives. This vendor has been an absolute nightmare, and sullies Redwood Pulmonary Medical Associates by association.
