Great view, great food and lots of beer – Update 2/14/10 12:30 My friends and I went back after seeing the menu last week. We arrived at 12:30 and had room to park. We got a great table looking out at the Greenbelt. It was a beautiful day and a good call. The food is just as good as it is described. Good Food/No service – I tried to have dinner at Red's Porch on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. It was my fourth visit to the place. When I came in at about 10:30 no one was at the host station. I waited a few minutes and then finally asked the bartender, who was the only waitstaff within sight, if they were still open and selling food. She told me to come in and grab my own menu from the host station, which I did. I asked her if I could just grab a table somewhere and she said yes. Good Food, But Threadgills Has Better – They obviously put some money into the remodeling and the 2nd floor deck is a nice addition. The wait staff was attentive and the manager even came by to check on us. It was very clean and there were a lot of TV's on the inside to watch sports on. If you are a carnivore, you will love it, but if you are a vegetarian, not so much due to lack of selection. They didn't even have veggie burgers even though they had a selection of hamburgers. Citysearch Editorial Review – Driving to the end of South Lamar can feel a bit like falling off a cliff, but that's just Route 360.
