The chair has been glitchy since I got it. I reported all to Redman well within the warranty period. After multiple visits by multiple technicians, Redman, the maker of the chair, could not properly diagnose the problem. Eventually, they became totally unresponsive so I had to find someone who could diagnose and fix it. The repairman called for a quote on a replacement part, and it cost $700 for the same part that costs $200 for other chairs. I have spent more time on having it fixed than driving it. These people will rip you off! My husband had ALS and he paid $25,000 ( yes that is thousands!) for his chair. He had it less then 3 yrs. Was still in great condition and they told us they would buy it back. BUT GUESS WHAT??? They were only going to give me less then $1,000 (yes that is only ONE thousand) for it!!! Of course they would RE-SELL it for over $20,000!!! What they do is pathetic and taking advantage over elderly or health challenged people!! To me that is just sick. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

I know every other experience on the Redman review board is a 5 but unfortunately I’m on the other end. I contacted Redman about a chair and everything seemed to be running smoothly. Had a rep bring one by the house and fitted me for the chair. So a few days go by and I’m contacted about the price and the steps needed to proceed through the doctor and PT. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Redman Chair Repair. I am new to Tucson and I needed some work done on my older model power chair. Sam Redman was so nice and accommodating, he came to my home the same day I called. After evaluating my chair, the cost of repairs and my current needs he recommended a new chair. The Redman Power Chair has improved my Grandma's life beyond words. She can now get around and stand in a way that was impossible before. Their customer service is exceptional from the beginning to end, including any repairs they may come up. I would recommend this company to anyone from their outstanding service alone.
