Citysearch Editorial Review – This expansive restaurant and lounge that weaves along the 24th floor of the Ritz-Carlton not only affords incredible views of the Downtown LA skyline, but it also offers artful renditions of Asian fusion and Chinese cuisine that'll excite even the most jaded palate. Though he's not in the kitchen--that duty goes to the very capable Spago Beverly Hills veteran David McIntyre--Wolfgang Puck has helped create a menu of thoughtfully executed dishes including steamed Santa Barbara prawns enveloped i... read more

I just had the best dinner of my life – When I used to hear the name Wolfgang Puck I would think of the renowned Spagos or those "express" food spots at the airport - maybe even some packaged goods at the grocery store. This has all changed. From now on I will think only of WP24, and for good reason. Ok, so the location is pretty much unbeatable - The Ritz Carlton / Marriott building(s) are stunning, high atop the L.A. Live complex. The views from your table will blow you away. There are windows, big windows, all around the ... read more

DISAPPOINTING overrated and terribly slow service – I was excited to go here after reading a lot of the great reviews. The food here isn't bad- BUT they are charging outstanding food prices, and the food is a far, far cry from that. The menu is so expensive- much moreso than the much better Maestros. Also, we waited over 1 hour for our food. My friend's steak was supposed to be med well and they did it med rare- when he asked for it to be redone, it came back virtually inedible. The overpriced dessert was only so-so. When we... read more

Go with 4 or more – We really liked this place, mostly because the food was very tasty and there was a lot of it. In fact, we should have brought more people, because we couldn't finish it all. Let's call the place sophisticated casual, sophisticated food, casual room. Solid service and value. Worth checking out.

This is definitely my favorite restaurant. They change their menu every day that you can’t get bored of anything there. Their customer service is the best of the best. And their desserts are TO DIE FOR!

Highly entertaining scene at Sidebar – Echoing comments from others, Sidebar is a great spot albeit only once in a while because it is overwhelming to the senses. On my most recent foray to Sidebar, the staff members were great (i.e. very pleasant, attentive, no attitude), the drinks strong and the appetizers delicious. As to the people watching - CLASSIC!!! Including several hookers, one porn star, Russian and New Jersey mafia, a transvestite, too many gold-diggers, several Cougars, plenty of the clueless, the bewildered an... read more

Great menu – I am a super picky maybe the pickiest eater ever yet I couldn't find a single thing wrong with anything I ordered here. Had a perfect anniversary dinner recently, wine menu is extensive and the somelier is very very helpful. Waiting staff is there when you need it but they don't bother you with constant stares. And most importantly the food is just beyond perfect. However, I think It's time for them to hire an interior designer, the place kinda looks outdated.... Its almost 2010 guys....

Past its prime – Spago was once an amazing dining experience. Now it seems like the last Bastion for a bankrupt Wolfgang Puck: the food is not very good at all. Consistently over salted and watery. Deserts are better. The Dobos torte is better than its Hungarian creators could ever make. Front door person had an attitude and made us wait at the bar even thought the restaurant was half empty.

AWFUL the biggest let down – This restaurant came very highly recommended and my girlfriend and I were very very excited to try it on date night. Unfortunately from the beginning this was an awful experience that made us wish for a hinano burger. We go out often and try new restaurants all the time. The evening began with coming in to the most awful layout of a restaurant I have ever seen. We were seated in the middle facing the bar/waiters station in the most awful decor. There were two large flamingos on both sides of us f... read more
