There's nothing bad I can say. The cornbread and tomato jam were the kind of introduction that almost made me forget the entree. Incredible across the board. The fact that it's owned by my culinary mentor only made it better! HIGHLY recommend!

Cornbread, Hamachi Collar, Jerk Chicken, cocktails - all fantastic. Also, super convenient to the subway. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in Harlem!! I usually attend worship services at the Church of Christ. Just a quick walk up the street. The hostess was amazing. She got us in even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was amazing and the entertainment too. A must if you're in Harlem!!

My Harlem Pie was good, though a little skimpy with the lamb. But flavors were very nice. Cornbread was good too. Bloody Mary was excellent, spicy and hot!. Not a big fan of "scenes" like this, would not have gone if not for our visiting out of town friend. It really was too crowded. Music was good, an excellent singer and also a great sax player. But too many requests for donations and CD purchase, left a bad taste. Perhaps a return visit in summer, when sidewalk tables might alleviate the crowding....
