Had I known that they had a DJ, and I wouldn't have been able to hear my server or my husband sitting 3 feet away, I probably wouldn't have gone. We made a reservation and arrived early, and they were able to seat us immediately (which was great.) We ordered Harlem Mess as an app (which was billed as twice baked ranch fries with cheese curds, amongst other things) but we received tater tots with melted cheese. Came here to celebrate my graduation, (first time here)and had a REALLY nice time!! The ambiance and vibe was perfect for the day. The staff were very attentive, efficient and timely. The good was AWESOME and so were the drinks! Looking forward to my next visit!!

The Staff is very friendly and very attentive to us! The Food was awesome too! When we told them about the 2 College Graduates with us, our Son Aaron and his friend Bianca Ortiz, the General Manager and the Staff provided some surprises for them �
The atmosphere is great, although we picked the wrong night to see the dixieland band. Not the type of jazz we were looking for. Asked for a wine spritzer, waitress told me the bartender wouldn't make it. She checked, he said he would. Obama rib platter was great until we got to the last rib which was old and dry. Waitress questioned us like suspects about it like we brought the dry one in with us. Managers handled it efficiently. But only after she acted like we were trying to rip the place off of a rib. SMH.
It is a terrific restaurant, with great dishes and outstanding service!
The food was good but not enough for the price They also wanted us to peer up with others sitting @ our table when in fact there was a lot in our party already, the wait wasn't to bad do to the fact we didn't have a reservation, I feel that the staff can cater more to. Their guest.
Had a wonderful dinner with family on Saturday with a visit from the man himself, Marcus Samuelsson. Everything we ate was great and so was the staff. Would love the recipe for the coconut cake that was the featured cake that night. Can't wait to visit again.
