This hotel is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. On our last evening there, after a long day of competition, we came back to our rooms to find no hot water, while it was 0 degrees outside. Then several of our coaches and players had bed bug bites! We later scanned the rooms and found a live, medium sized bed bug. convenient to everything in walking distance
We stayed for one night to take care of some personal business. We did not know that we had to pay for parking. 17:02 per night. Desk staff professional but price is high for the quality. We had a room overlooking some buildings and the parking lot. Breakfast was from 6-9, we went down at 8, and they had run out of plates. What does a stack of paper plates cost? Hot water was empty. It was close to where I was going, staff friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean. Top notch breakfast and I will definitely stay there again
Red Roof Plus! And by plus we mean LESS! Tiny room, half the outlets didn't work, NO Phone in the room! No parking without paying extra. Boosted my bill by almost 100 after getting my room rate. I can get a suite, mid week, in Lake Placid at beautiful White Face lodge for less money, they should be disgusted with their business practices
Dirty rooms, rude staff, TERRIBLE service! Unacceptable!!! I cannot believe the terrible service here!! The "manager" even hung up on me!!!!!! This is NOT how you treat customers!!!!!! I am in shock!!! I will NEVER stay in another red roof in again!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!!
We were very grateful that we found a hotel in downtown that allowed dogs. Staff was nice, but they charged for parking. We also requested a room that was non-smoking but the hallway smells so bad like cigarettes. The A.C. wasn't as strong to keep the room as cold as we like. Other than that it was a pretty good stay, room was clean bathroom was clean. Breakfast had an okay selection.
