This was probably the worst hotel stay I’ve had. I chose this Red Roof Inn because there was no pet fee, which I appreciated, and I’ve stayed at other Red Roof locations without major issues. Unfortunately, this property was in much worse condition. The room itself appeared clean, but it smelled like smoke. Both the bathtub and the sink drained very slowly, and the hallway carpets were extremely dirty. The TV turned on, but the remote did not work, so I couldn’t control it or watch anything. Room was so hot. Air conditioner didn’t work. Moved to another room , a/c there was worse. Gave a fan and said tough. This is when it was 100 degrees outside.

I had a twin/double room reserved through Hotels.com at the Red Roof Inn. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room was no longer available and was told that only a king room remained. The staff claimed I had never booked a twin/double room, despite me providing my reservation confirmation and receipt clearly showing that I had. The king room would have been acceptable if I had been traveling alone; however, I was attending a concert with a friend, and the room did not meet our needs.
