My stay at the Red Roof Inn in Byron was a nightmare. I rented two rooms for one night and even paid an early check-in fee of $50, arriving at 5:45 AM. After unloading our belongings, I left for work and returned around 11 PM. Upon arrival, I discovered that all of our belongings had been stolen from the room. I have stayed here several times. The condition of the rooms has degraded severely! I checked on at 5:30 pm and found that the bed had not yet been made. I was given another room and found the that the microwave had not been cleaned and that the turn table was missing. The towel bar was pulled from the wall and the rubber baseboard in the bathroom was pulled from the wall and sitting on the floor. The floor felt sticky so I wiped it with a damp towel. 100% recommend this place! We were in a pinch- got in and settled. Clean, comfy beds. They were very accommodating and helpful with our situation! Definitely come stay here if you’re in the area.

Do NOT stay here. We tried 2 different rooms when checking in and BOTH had stained sheets, Pubic hair in the bed and a dead bed bug too. I ended up just leaving instead of staying the night because I was so grossed out Then when Expedia asked for a refund, the hotel told them that I had occupied the room for 2 hours prior to asking to try the second room, when in truth we were in each room for a total of 5-10 minutes each. I have never had any experience like this before where I chose to leave a hotel when already paid for.
