My family of 5 came in tonight and had a wonderful experience. Usually taking three young children into a restaurant is kind of an ordeal as I am trying to order for them and myself and answer a million questions and so on, I'm sure any mom would understand! but tonight we came in and had Jakob as our waiter and he was an absolute joy, he interacted with the kids and gave me time to look at the menu, he talked to them as individuals and played with them. Literally almost waited for an hour like an animal for show for oncoming and out going customers. It was for a walk-in take out order, which they never asked for my name just wanted to get out of my presence quick. "Sorry for the wait we have a lot of orders." Yeah because I clearly wasn't the right color for my order to have been taken a near hour prior to all those folks who had came in. Never going to that Red Robin again until there's color, cause all that whiteness is bullshit; no diversity in staff or anything at all.
We love Red Robin and were really wanting to eat here this afternoon. When we walked in there was one woman ahead of us and the hostess was on the phone taking a to go order I’m assuming. So we waited and waited and waited some more! Finally we were tired of being ignored so we left! You don’t ignore the people standing in your restaurant! You put that call on hold. Or maybe don’t have the hostess take call in orders! So Fat Guys got our business!
