This is the ultimate beef lover’s restaurant. For over 75 years the Red Osier has been noted for its prime rib dinner, which is carved and served tableside. The ribs are aged and then marinated for 48 hours in a unique seasoning, then slow roasted in a special oven. Choose from the 1-lb. Princess Cut, 1 ½-lbs. Queen Cut, 2-lbs. Have not been there since new ownership.Had the same great waitress I had the last time I was there(Debbie)...she was very friendly, attentive and thorough...the food was very good, however the prime rib could have been seasoned a little more,adding a little more flavor, But it was very tender and good.A little pricey for dining there on a regular basis, but great for special occasions..I will go back for sure
This post applies to the food truck. Roast beef on weck was tough and fatty. Kimmelweck seeds were baked into the roll, who does that? No salt on the roll either. Not good and a waste of money. This was at Fairport canal days. Won't be buying red osier again.

My family had dinner for my dad's 80th birthday and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The food was AMAZING and the service was exceptional! Heather was our waitress and truly made it a special day for us all!
My fiancé and I came for dinner tonight for the first time. Our server Heather was amazing! She went above and beyond- she was friendly, courteous and never missed a beat!!!! The prime rib was the BEST we’ve ever had, the entire meal was outstanding. One of the owners actually came out and asked us how everything was as well. Overall- I would rate the Red Osier 5 stars +++++++++. Thank you again Heather, we will be back again soon.
Great place to eat and good people. First time there and very pleasurable. Will definitely go again.
