Amazing food and service. I had the beef medallion sandwich. Took a piece of the key lime cheesecake home. Wish we had one close to home. Yummmm Home-Vancouver, WA

What a gem of a place�� So glad we stopped here on our journey back east! The Onion soup was fabulous and Jerry's BLT was awesome.
Sirloin with sautéed mushrooms was off the hook. Also the side and Potato soup were excellent.. yet the the key lime cheesecake was amazing. I will definitely eat there again, if I get the chance to visit Joplin in the future!

Had the Tuscany Chicken. Service was fast, walked right in, and the food was absolutely delicious! The highlight of my day!
I'm from Oklahoma and this is the second time we've eaten here ! I think it's worth the stop !!!!!
We come to Joplin almost every other week to visit our horse at the training facility. We always look forward to our lunch at The Red Onion Cafe. We have never been disappointed!! The salad is always cold and crisp. The portions are generous!! We always top the meal off by sharing a dessert!
Very good food. The filet mignon is a bit pricey.
