Nancy and I had an amazing lunch at Red Onion on Monday. We both had yummy crunchy coconut breaded chicken strips with honey mustard dip, house salad with a yummy house dressing, delicious mashed potatoes with bacon bits and cheese, and a big slice of garlic bread. Not your typical cafe! Upscale with yummy food and friendly staff. Would certainly return! A must place to eat if in the area!
My sisters and I were there for the first time Saturday. We liked the decor but were stuck near the kitchen; my sisters had to look at the dessert menu and I looked at a wall. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer; it was good but had a bitter taste that we couldn't determine. My sisters both had a steak and requested well done with no pink; both steaks were more medium well than well and had pink--one worse than the other but they chose not to send them back. The food was delicious. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. I was there with four other people. We all enjoyed every last bite.
