The steaks are awesome the ribs are better then pappys in St. Louis. The deserts can't be beat. Had lunch there yesterday for the hospice jeep run. The food was great as usual. The wait staff handle the hungry jeepers very well. Thanks for being such a great place to eat in the sea of sub par restaurants in southern Illinois. The bar has been set for all local eateries.
It seems to be great for the regular fish goers... But my husband and I went last night for prime rib and I ordered the special with steak and lobster tail..... Waited and waited one hour after salad and still no food!!! Waitress just stopped acknowledging we were even there We Left hungry
The food is usually good. But, today I was not pleased with the roast beef. It was tough and cold.
We go to the Red Onion at least once a week to eat. Service is great and so is the food.
Best place around to eat....everything is wonderful..you can't get any better service from all the girls.
Best Bbq ribs ever, large full rack with plenty to take home. Reheated just as delicious.
The Red Onion is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is of high quality, the portions are large, and they have enough staff working to accommodate the seating capacity. Drinks are served immediately and service is wonderful. It is clean, usually full of customers, but with less wait time than most restaurants. Dress is casual.
Horrible service, if I could give no stars I would . I will never go back !
