Waitress was excellent! Food was ok. Nothing exceptional, but probably because we got Sunday dinner of fried chicken. Potatoes are bland, carrots were candied(good, just not what I expected) and broccoli casserole seemed to be missing something. I’d go back but definitely try something else and maybe be better
My family and I love going to The Red Onion! One of the best restaurants in Southern IL! Definitely the best catfish around! My husband loves the strawberry butter and my daughter loves the baked sweet potatoes. The bread is so light and delicious. Staff is always very friendly and attentive.

I had the Ribs before and they were Amazing. But the last time i wasn't impressed. i will give them another try though.
I can't get over how good the food was and how fast it was served. We both had their porkchops, the 1 inch and the 2 inch... both delicious. We will return.
