Had lunch at the location within City Creek. The most revolting nasty excuse for a burrito. What a disgrace of a Mexican joint!
The sample plate of mole, was delightful. It was just as delightful trying over and over to decide. I later decided on mango enchilada, which was succulent and savory. Add the flair of atmosphere and excellent service..Bravo! Reading the story that is as a family operated business comforted my tastebuds along with my satisfaction where my money goes. Heart

Not only do they have the best food, but their service is amazing. They are right there making sure we have everything we need. They are so friendly.. if I didn't live in Layton I would eat there once a week.. thank you Red iguana for making each experience the best !!

Chile Rellenos were the best! The sauce is outta this world! Cheese, rice, beans and tortillas were also delicious! We are from Philadelphia and we really need Mexican joints like this!
I love Red Iguana! My favorite Mexican food restaurant! Even though though there was an issue with my order they made it over and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Things like this happen occasionally and they responded with a tremendous level of customer service. The chef even came and talked to me and apologized for the oversite. I brought guests from Colorado and they were very impressed with the restaurant.
Absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever had. Worth the wait.
