Featured on Food Networks, "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" theRed Iguana has been a Salt Lake City staple long before the show aired. This Mexican restaurant is family owned and operated, serving dishes from various regions of Mexico as well as some family favorites handed down from generation to generation. This family friendly establishment also offers a simplified menu for los niños and is so popular that a line can be seen wrapping around the block during high traffic meal times.

1st time here...ill definitely be back... Excellent service and the food is even better...
Always try to go when I'm in town... straight up some of the best Mexican food around.
Absolutely fantastic! I have spent 30 years in Southern California and this was as good or better than any Mexican restaurant out there. I had the enchiladas and they were great.
Amazing food and a fantastic staff! Best Mexican restaurant that I have ever eaten at.
The food is amazing and the waiter did something that I've never had any waiter do before- ask if we wanted to order food for my 3 year old while we were still deciding on our own food. Zach you are awesome!!!
Best Mexican restaurant we have ever been to!! (And we're from Denver Co. We came for an event to SLC) Their guacamole is absolutely to die for!!
Great food I would definitely recommend trying this spot.
Rice was mushy, beans were dry. I order the Puebla mole and I thought it could've been better. I lived in salt lake all my life and I thought I was missing out until I tried this place. If people value to wait in line for this restaurant, then I'm going to give them a second chance. Their guacamole taste like it's straight out of a bag. Can anyone else agree?
Visiting from Colorado for the weekend and decided to try out a Mexican restaurant while there. Place seemed to be quite popular so we decided to give it a try. Food was good. Nothing spectacular but good.
