Great food and they even had Horchata!! Service was terrific and were just fortunate enough to stumble onto it! A must dine place in Salt Lake!
Happened on this place after flying into SLC, thank you Google Maps. Got there before the lunch rush and had a delicious meal. I had the Enchiladas Suizas, and although it was very different than any Suzas I have had, it was probably the most flavorful version I have experienced. My wife had the Chicken Tacos and they were also very tasty. The service was excellent. We hope to return.
So good!!! Came here as a last minute decision and so excited too. On the outside it's kind of skeptical but behind the doors is another story! Spencer was amazing and very accommodating!!! The red sauce tastes like pumpkin pie and the chili verde sauce was delicious!!! Definitely would come back for dinner on my next trip to SLC! If you're looking for an authentic Mexican place to eat, you found it here!!
The food is wonderful and the service is always as good as it gets.
Red Iguana is the real deal. Guacamole was fresh and delicious. Enchiladas were fabulous with authentic sauce and spice. Service was attentive and friendly. 👍🏼
I had the chili rellano plate, husband had the red iguana, everything was delicious and our server was great! Long wait but the play music and provide ice water while you wait. If I'm ever back is SLC will definitely making a stop.

OK, so I know that this is the most popular Mexican restaurant in the greater Salt Lake area and it was very good, but I was just in California two weeks ago and I liked all three of the Mexican restaurants where we ate there better. I realize this is subjective but they were all glorious. I ate here a few years ago and wasn't overly impressed.
