Steak is better than Ruth Steak and Donovans! My go to spot!!! Ooooooh and that lobster was off the hook. Also at 9pm live music, such a "Goodfellas" movie type of vibe. LUV IT! The bartender doesn't pull tight on the drinks either. Our waiter Chris was AMAZING!!!!! PERFECT SPOT to have a lovely dinner. Not a good place for kids, adult setting...LOVE THE VIBE.
Love this place! You should go if you haven’t ever before the end of August. They are shutting down to build new across the street.
We always enjoy the cold salad 🥗 and the steak 🥩 n lobster 🦞. Very delicious 😋 . The atmosphere is early English where it was brought to San Diego in pieces and rebuilt. Although this place will be making major changes this year, it still is a place where you feel at home. The staff is always welcoming and the food was fresh and delicious. I decided to change things up and ordered Burger and fries plate. The salad that was shared was spot on sublime since the lettuce was nicely cold and had an amazing Ranch Dressing with small bite size crunchy croutons. The ambiance and decor are old school, awesomeness. Technically the Red Fox Room is a 400 year old pub that's been dismantled and relocated a couple of times with another relocation coming in August 2019. The wood paneling and carvings date back to a 16th century pub in Surrey. Steak, lobster, chilled green salad... The wine list is super thin and doesn't compliment the menu, but corkage is only $12 so BYOB! Ask for Chelsey. She's a fantastic server with lots of good Red Fox Room information.
