Dr. Joy and his staff are terrific. Their office is nice and relaxing. The receptionist gives repeated notices to confirm appointments. Dr. Joy is a terrific dentist with a great sense of humor and a keen eye for giving you the perfect smile. I would recommend Dr. Joy and their staff to anyone who is considering dental treatment.
My 20 years going to Dr. Joy says it all! While I have not needed major procedures except for crowns, he has been the most caring and responsive dentist I have ever had. Dr. Joy keeps you informed of what is going to happen next and checks in with you to make sure you are OK. Pain and discomfort are kept to a minimum. The hygienists and front desk staff are also great.
He did my root canal - my first. No pain, but three months later I'm having significant problems with the tooth and a poorly constructed filling.
I was a visitor from out of town who hd recently had veneers done on the east coast. I had a problem that required semi-urgent attention and he took me in at 4pm on friday. Turns out if was a rather challenging case and required the skills of skilled nursed and technician. He must have spent over 1.5 hours on it and i could tell that he was maticulas to detail. Dr. Joy is the most thorough and talented dentist I've had. Multiple xrays were taken during my root canal to verify the progress and extra time was allocated to the procedure to ensure a great result. I've never seen that before.
Seemed very rushed and busy. Has many patients in progress at the same time. Recommended very expensive treatments, Hygenist did not schedule follow up appointments.
What a nice guy Dr. Joy is! I thoroughly enjoyed my trips to the dentist. In addition, he knows what he is doing! I've since moved to Oregon, otherwise I would still be his faithful patient.
No unnecessary procedures, I had the worst experiences going from dentist to dentist until my friend recommended Chris. I have been goin to him for 10 years and I have never been happier.
