My go-to coffee shop. They've got vegan food/pastry options and monthly specials, vegan mocha, vegan hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers, and non-dairy milks. Get a punch card for rewards after buying drinks and/or beans to brew at home. The atmosphere is great, parking isn't horrible, and there's free wifi. They don't hassle you when you bring your own mug/cup (which is a huge plus for me) and it's way better to support your local coffee shop instead of chains like starbucks/dunkin'. I went to Recess coffee in the hopes of getting a regular iced coffee... we ordered an iced coffee, and was given a iced cold brew. The cold brew is very good, but not everyone agrees that iced coffee = cold brew. The tastes are very different (as well as the price!). I was just hoping that a coffee shop would have just normal iced coffee. I will be back, but will not again order an “iced coffee” unless they make this change.
The best place for a coffee, a place to chat or a place to work. Whenever I come to town, I make sure to stop in!
