I had a very disappointing experience with Carrie, who was appointed as a reconciliation counselor for me and my two daughters during a contentious custody dispute. Unfortunately, rather than facilitating reunification, she contributed to a greater sense of disconnection. Amazing staff! Each therapist here is amazing with their clients! They are caring, great listeners, teachers, counselors, provide great alternatives! I love the fact they work the parents in with the counseling and together we all learn how to move forward! Would recommend anyone at this office!

I wouldn’t even give her one star but it’s required. Carrie short is a horrible therapist. We have not noticed any improvement in our children. She does not communicate nor take parents concerns into consideration. Her ego to be a “fixer” and against the judicial system is disgusting. Judges and court orders are very necessary in many situations and she acts as if her “words of wisdom” overrule the court order and will fix everything. Carrie Short has impacted our life for the better. We are so grateful for her help tweaking our communication with one another and teaching us coping techniques. She takes the time to build relationships with kids so she can truly know them and how they think, as to offer individualized council.
