We are a family of 5 so I'll be switching everyone to Dr Rebecca Melvin.Absolutely loved her.
First, waited 15 minutes for doctor after entering room. And when she came in and we started talking, I told her I had made a list because I forget things. Her comment was " well, we only have 20 minutes.
I went into this appointment expecting to not be heard just like I have had in the past with prior doctors. Dr. Melvin was AMAZING. I received everything from this visit that I was looking for! I'm actually excited to go to the doctor again. I feel like she's in my court.
Dr. Melvin replaced my mother's primary, Dr. Silver who was amazing, and from the start was very course and condescending. She was demeaning, loud, and combative until I responded in kind. Then she started acting somewhat like a doctor. My mother is now bed ridden and even though my sister and I have medical POA she won't speak to us, have a video call, or even speak to my mother's advocate. Because of this my mother hasn't been able to get the therapy she needs to be able to walk again amongst other thing's. My job is in je... read more
