She is kind and has fun. Aways makes my kids laugh. My 15 month old is terrified and ahe makes her at eases, even brings out bubbles to keep her calm in my arms as she examines her. The negative reviews may be due to expectations that aren't realistic. She is very to the point but is the best way to hear truth. We can't be caudled through life. Sarcasm is a way to decrease nerves not shut down unless you need growthyourself.
I have followed her from SSM to Hinton health group. She is honest and very knowledgeable and doesn’t push vaccines on your kids! I’m sure SSM didn’t like that she didn’t fit their agenda..
Will not return. She accused me of not getting PT. She never referred me. It was if she blamed me for my injury. She left room and was shouting , " what is going on , all the crazies or out. Not sure if she was talking to staff or herself. Very unprofessional and condescending. Needs to find a new profession!
I really like Dr Melvin. She was not a big Pharma person. Looked for the root cause. I will look to see where her new office is located
Terrible doctor and person. Has no business still being employed by SSM. Read the reviews and avoid this doctor at all costs.
She did not listen to me, lied and wrote horrible things/lies about me in my chart. Every time I tried to ask a question about something I didn't understand she would get angry with me. She did complement me on my weight loss, but would not listen that it was unexplained and I was concerned. She wrote I work with seniors, I never did and am retired. She acted like a crazy person kept yelling at me and wouldn't stop. She had me crying, but continued to criticize me.
Would not recommend at all!!!! Very unhappy with this doctor. Doesn’t seem to know much and spends too much time trying to tell you how to parent than listening to your needs and concerns! Did not get a very genuine vibe from her. There are definitely far better doctors out there!
Doctor Melvin it's extremely attentive to my baby. She doesn't rush us out of the office and answers all question we ask. Highly recommended.
She listened to what I had to say. She gave a really busy instead of just talking to me for 10 minutes.
