I wish I would have read these reviews before we moved in. They hit the nail on the head. The owner is oblivious to anything. We attempted numerous times to discuss our water which is way way overpriced - somehow 4 apartments with one individual each uses 19,000 gallons of water without a dishwasher or washer being used. Unless Shamu is hiding out this is insane as my parents home with 5 people, washer and dryer and dishwasher use 9,000 gallons. then charge you late fees saying your rent wasn't paid on time. They try to come off as helpful by making "pmt arrangements" of like fifty extra a month and then it goes straight to their late charge and NEVER takes anything off the balance. All they did was covered up the damage to the house with cheesy cosmetic fixes and then charge TOP dollar! Realty Counseling may be one of the most poorly managed companies that rent apartments in the Southside...the only draw that they have is that rent is super affordable, but you TRULY get what you pay for. When we moved in, when our lease started, out apartment was not cleaned, there was garbage everywhere, and the carpets were absolutely filthy....it took an ENTIRE WEEK to get everything cleaned, and were told it was our fault for moving in the day our lease started?
