I do not recommend renting with this company, they do not do an annual inspection, the conditions are not healthy, I am pregnant and my doctor sent a letter asking me to leave the place, I am a single mother, I gave RPM 90 days to find a new tenant since my pregnancy was not going well due to the terrible conditions in which they keep the building and RPM STOLE MY DEPOSIT. They took advantage of my situation. They never return the deposit. Feel free to contact me and I can provide all the supports .
Although it is against CT state law, RPM is trying to withhold two months security. We ended our lease early-giving them 3 months written notice. They were able to re-rent the property for more money. Be careful CT renters, although the lease states that security money "may" be withheld for early termination, this is not true! A new statute in 2020 states that security can only be withheld for damages. We are in the process of fighting this and would never recommend this management company.
RPM of Southern CT is the quintessential slum property management company. 9 months after renting a property they manage, I've had no less that 8 leaks and floods, heat that went out for over two days during 10 degree weather, and a property manager that calls and threatens people. These are the type of people who belong behind bars, not in business.
Zero stars. Slum lords. They are not responsive to service calls. They don't remove snow when its called for even though it is part of the lease agreement. The didn't do a thorough move out inspection on the previous tenants so we were blamed for items left behind. They kept a large amount of the security deposit based off ridiculous upcharges on minor repairs. But ignored the call for the repairs. So disappointed and lesson learned on a company that takes advantage of college kids!
ive used RPM for over a year and they are top notch. They are extremely responsive and do a fantastic job handling any issues. I would highly recommend them to manage any properties for new landlords. Thanks RPM!
I have rented from a RPM managed property for a year now. I’m extremely happy with RPM’s Management. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and on “top of their game”! Every issue I had from Maintenace to general assistance, has been handled in a timely manner! They communicate and address all of my concerns promptly! At this apartment when ever there is a concern I have they always respond to me within the first day which I find amazing and helpful . All of the workers sent in by the head of maintenance are always exceptionally great at their jobs and they are always professional. I would recommend for anyone looking to rent to look here. Paul R is always on top of any concerns, he has made the building super secure and I feel safe here even with the reputation of the city being not to good
