Better management and start taking care of you long term employees.
Assisted living was great, but long term care was horrible. My Mom didn’t last 3 months there. No respect for the elderly. Disgusting!!
It’s a wonderful place to live and work. I put 39 years of my life working here and I have no regrets.
My father was a resident at the Altenheim before it was owned by CarDon so I can only speak to that timeframe (2006-2008) I would say at first we had a few minor bumps in the road until they knew what our firm expectations were. My mother was there daily and so was I. You have to be present just as you would be at home. We were treated with utmost respect during the days right before my fathers passing and all the nurses, CNA’s and the chaplain were amazing.
