I moved to the UWS about a year ago, but I'm still taking my Korats back downtown to Reade St. I'd originally thought to take them somewhere closer to our new home, but one bad experience was enough. I will ALWAYS take my girls downtown! Dr Xanthos and her staff are amazing! Loving and caring, with full explanations and support. There's nowhere else in the city like Reade St.
Dr. Xanthos is very thorough and thoughtful. She examined test results that others have overlooked and provides feesback as well as she has prescribed the right medications when needed. I have a senior dog and every day of good health is a blessing so I highly recommend her and her practice.
I trust Dr. Xanthos and her staff completely and they've been so valuable in keeping my dogs healthy.
Our dog gets great events from Reade Street Animal Hospital. They have been giving wonderful help with our lovely dog! Just to share that information our dogs and cats!

My dog Momo Blessings knows Dr. X since she was puppy. We haven’t been a frequent visitor as she’s been a very healthy pup. However as she’s aging, problem happens (it’s really not fun to get old), I’m so happy we always have Dr. X in the neighborhood, she’s so knowledgeable, and wouldn’t recommend anything just to get you pay. She performed great surgery on Momo today, the stitches are secured and clean. Thank you everyone at Reade Animal Hospital for taking care of my baby!!
Dr X is awesome. Once you’ve experienced a great vet, you would establish a standard for vets. All other vets muzzle our dog, Dr. X’s team can pick him up & do everything without him ever bat an eye. An average vet does all kinds of tests before he can determine anything; Dr. X has saved us hundreds of $ by just knowing whether our dog NEEDED the tests. The costs are reasonable & they take the time to answer all my questions. After 4 years, we’ve moved out of Manhattan. We now travel from out of state to see Dr. X if anythin... read more
